Optional member texts

A small nudge, when it helps.

Handoff texts members about referrals for them and asks whether they are taking new clients. Referral notices use a case reference and a Handoff link. Texts never include client details.

You choose whether to join

When texting is available for your account, you can turn it on in your member text settings:

Sign in to Handoff and open Text messages in your settings.
Enter your own mobile number and check the consent box. It starts unchecked.
Select Turn on texts, then reply YES to the confirmation text.

The consent box says:

I agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Handoff at this number about referrals for me and a weekly availability check. Consent is not a condition of membership. Msg frequency varies, about 1–3 per week. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, PAUSE to skip 3 weeks, STOP to cancel.

Joining Handoff does not automatically sign you up for texts. Consent is not a condition of membership.

Stay in control

Reply STOP to unsubscribe, or turn off texts in your member settings.
Reply PAUSE to pause notices for three weeks, or RESUME to end that pause sooner.
Reply HELP for help, or email support@handoffnetwork.com.
